Welcome! My name is Stephanie. I am a natural-born creative who is in search of life's greatest adventures, meanings, and sights through the realms of painting, reading, writing, and photography -- and of course product management professionally! I have taken a few personality tests which have identified me as an INFP and as someone who's character strengths fall into the following categories: Love of Learning, Bravery, Appreciation of Beauty & Excellence. I am a first-generation American from Venezuela and immigrated to the country as a child. Although an American citizen, I have had the luxury to acquaint myself with many cities and can proudly say I've lived in Miami, Atlanta, Paris, Brussels, Austin, and Cambridge (MA) and fluently speak English, French, and Spanish. These varied experiences have not made me feel like an outsider, but rather, have let me pull the curtain to the realities of different groups of people around the world including their humor, habits, customs, daily rituals, and cuisine. Most importantly, I've learned that no matter where we originate we are all trying to live in community, spend time with those that matter the most, experience nature, and eat food with simple and fresh ingredients.
Such curiosity of how humans mobilize and interact with the world around them brought me to delve into product management. I am fascinated with what motivates people to make decisions, stick to their habits or explore new ways of doing things. Starting off in Customer Experience, allowed me to question these tendencies. Now, during the week, I am typically uncovering problems (and lots of them!), ideating solutions, and measuring the success of features and products I'd like to launch or have already into market (upon other strategic initiatives around building product vision, strategy, and roadmaps). I love delving into the space of many unknowns -- not having enough data or having the full interpretation of what users want -- and delivering solutions that solve real user problems. You'd think that I'd be sick of seeing so many problems and working within ambiguity, but curiously, I view them as opportunities. Life and product converge at this point, and I am always seeking how I can always turn a "problem" into an area for growth.
Outside of product management, I run two different projects. One being: Free Virtual Interview Prep -- associated with my mission to help individuals mobilize up in the career ladder, and the other: Vestida Studio -- where I can fully create clothing that is both inclusive to all sizes, sustainable, and originates from artisans around the world.
During my free time, I am usually experiencing life lifting weights, running, cooking, painting, reading, or watching an indie film.
Let's connect to see how we can work together on my product advisory or product management endeavors. *Message me for a detailed resume request.
